By now all our visiting riders from interstate and overseas should have settled in and are ready to come out and say hello. This is our chance to have a final chat, discuss our outfits and have any final questions answered. We will not be doing any registrations on this day—you should have completed your registration prior to this. This is normally not a late night as we all have to get up sober and early the next morn- ing to make sure the bikes are spotless and our out- fits are gorgeous.

In 2011 the Mardi Gras Party has been reunited with Parade, making Saturday 5th March one of the biggest dates in the party calendar.
Expect 15,000 or more at this iconic dance party with thousands flying in from around Australia and overseas.
Last year saw DJs David Guetta and Carl Cox, and spectacular performances from Kelly Rowland, George Michael and Adam Lambert.
You can only imagine the stellar international line-up we’ve arranged for 2011 – and we’re keeping the biggest names secret to surprise you on the night!
As the sun sets on Parade night, Sydney’s streets close down and the energy builds. Hundreds of thousands of colourful spectators line the streets in costume, electric with anticipation.
Meanwhile thousands more Parade participants mingle, sparkle and check their dance moves before exploding onto Oxford Street in the world’s most flamboyant, hilarious, creative and friendly celebration of gay pride.
Everyone’s favourite picnic in the park is back and better than ever! Kicking off the official Mardi Gras season, this year’s Fair Day promises a fun and relaxed day out with your friends and family, even your pets!
Up to 70,000 routinely turn out to sit on the grass, browse the stalls, gorge themselves on the plethora of delicacies available at the stalls, have a few drinks, but most of all, catch up with old friends – and make some new ones.
Some of the Mardi Gras festivals’ best talents will entertain the crowds from the main stage, including some special guests and emerging Australian talent. But there will be plenty of colour away from the stages too, with the day boasting a range of entertaining activities for everyone.
